Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Mr. Shehu Sani has said that many agencies in Nigeria are discharging same duties.
Mr. Sani disclosed the statement on microblogging website X, formerly Twitter on Thursday, stressing that the agencies were established without considering the resources available.
He said: “We created all sorts of Agencies, Commissions and departments without consideration to our limited resources.
“Many of these agencies are performing duplicating functions and renting apartments in Abuja. Sometimes you will be driving and will come across an agency you have never even heard of in your life.”
